The blows we're dealt in life have the capacity to make us or break us, and what we do with those agonizingly painful situations is what sets us apart.
For Latisha Russell, pain and trauma have been a common thread since before the age of 6. Having been separated from her estranged biological dad at a very early age, her mom's new marriage landed them all in an even worse situation - with a verbally and physically abusive husband/stepdad - and he went as far as to sexually abuse Latisha for years.
In a pivotal moment of despair, instead of letting the pain of these horrendous traumatic childhood experiences snuff her life out, Latisha chose to use her experience to help others.
Tune in to listen to her as she composedly recounts her harrowing experience, and how she is helping other families going through the same navigate these very sensitive situations.
