Uncovered Legacy

Ne’Chell Bowens wasn’t exactly “flying high” after realizing her goal of becoming a child psychologist had taken an emotional toll on her. However, the stars aligned after she was laid off from her job and encouraged to become a flight attendant. This new job fueled her wanderlust and four years later, she took the leap and moved to Mexico where she continued to work.

Ne’Chell started to share her stories and experiences on YouTube inspiring other men and women of the black community to do the same. When she found out she was pregnant with twins, she continued to forge her path by sharing her stories in new ways. She wrote a book called Womb-Mates: LaReine and Sirene and later launched her podcast Raising Noire Twins, a place where other parents of twins could listen and relate.

Born and raised in Sacramento, California, Ne’Chell is the youngest of four siblings. She attended an HBCU, Alabama A&M University, and graduated with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Human Development.
