Dr. Ryan Wiggan

Dr.

Hailing from very humble beginnings in Kingston, Jamaica, Dr Ryan Wiggan considers himself an extraordinary product of his unique and volatile circumstances that were faced during his childhood through to adolescence. He is an advocate for Education and Youth Empowerment and holds a special place in his heart for those who seek the gift of learning.

As a proud Alumnus of the Northern Caribbean University in Jamaica, and the La Sierra University in Riverside, California; he has attributed to these institutions his greatest treasures (outside of his family and faith); his increase in knowledge and wisdom, with the full understanding that learning never ends.

The most important person he has ever known on this earth was his mother, who was the foundation of his moral system and his inspiration. His mother never possessed a high school diploma, but she held the most powerful job in the world; his “sunshine”- as she was affectionately called. He believes that if it was not for his mother’s heart and sacrifice, he would not have gotten the opportunities afforded to him today; such as the honor of being your guest speaker. He considers himself the seed that “sunshine” planted, and wants the world to reap the fruits of her legacy that has formed the core of his existence and who he professes to be.

Dr. Wiggan is driven by a strong sense of compassion for others and has in the past been known to suffer privation for their comfort. His experience has prepared him for his speaking reputation as he has become known as an outstanding and sought-after motivational speaker. He adores his family, friends, and colleagues and wants us to always aim for “Something Better”.
